Our purpose: Guiding New Mexican Families to recovery

At Graces Place We walk beside people who are rebuilding their lives after system involvement, we offer support, direction, and hope as they work toward true freedom from addiction, stability, and a future filled with healing and possibility of a life time of recovery.

We are dedicated to supporting women and families who are seeking a new chapter in their lives free from substances. Many have lived a lifetime of bondage — caught in addiction, incarceration, CYFD involvement, and the daily struggle to make ends meet. Graces Place strives to teach, guide, and help individuals embrace a different life, free from these challenges, and move toward education, career fields, and family reunification.

What makes Graces Place unique?

What sets Graces Place apart is our deep, lived understanding of the struggles faced by our community. Our team members have  personally broken free from generational cycles of addiction, incarceration, and broken down family systems. We know what it feels like to fight for a new beginning, and we carry that compassion, empathy and passion into every part of our drive to assist families into a better life in recovery.

Our team is made up of individuals who understand the unique challenges within New Mexico’s culture and communities. We are committed to supporting families from all backgrounds, including those impacted by incarceration, CYFD involvement, and generational trauma. Because we have walked these paths ourselves, we bring not only professional experience but genuine empathy, cultural awareness, and respect to every situation.

At Graces Place, we stand with our community because we come from our community — and we are dedicated to helping every person find stability, connection, and a future filled with possibility.

Our Future Mission

Graces Place has not opened it's doors as of yet as we are still looking for locations. We are a  sober‑living transitional home for families involved with CYFD and for women reentering the community after incarceration. Our goal is to provide safe housing, structure, and support as clients work toward reunification, stability, and long‑term recovery.

Our goal is to assist resident and help them to learn essential life skills through CCSS services, peer support, and recovery mentorship. Clients are encouraged to attend IOP programming and are required to maintain a substance‑free lifestyle while being enrolled in school, job training, or employment.

Graces Place exists to help families and justice‑involved women rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and the tools needed to reintegrate successfully into the community.

Our Hope for Tomorrow: Sober Living Home

Supporting  the Community While We Grow

Recovery Support

Emotional and practical support for people working through addiction, incarceration, or CYFD involvement. We help individuals navigate challenges, connect with resources, and stay grounded in their recovery goals.

Resource Linking

We help individuals and families connect to the support they need right now. This includes linking people to treatment programs, sober living options, CYFD‑approved services, re‑entry resources, housing assistance, food programs, and community organizations that can meet their immediate needs. Our goal is to make sure no one has to navigate recovery or rebuilding alone — we guide them to the right help at the right time.

Life Skills/Job Coaching

Practical help with everyday skills that build independence. We assist with job searching, resumes, interview preparation, budgeting, time management, and creating routines that support long‑term success for individuals and families.

Recovery Mentorship

One‑on‑one guidance from someone who has walked the recovery path. We offer encouragement, accountability, and real‑life support to help individuals stay focused, build confidence, and move toward a healthier, stable future.

Our vision for a brighter future

While we eagerly anticipate the official opening of Graces Place, our mission continues. Currently, we focus on connecting as many individuals as possible with existing sober living homes and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs. We have established strong working relationships and partnerships with knowledgeable and effective programs that have immediate openings. We believe these resources will be immensely helpful to our community until our doors are fully operational, bringing hope and support to those who need it most.

"Graces Place is more than just a vision; it’s a beacon of hope for our community. Their dedication to helping people find true freedom is truly inspiring."
